Practice Summary/About the Practice:
At Young Foundational Health Center, we work from the foundation up. Instead of repairing the “cracks in the wall” or merely treating the symptoms, we aim at the root of the problem. By targeting the cell membrane and the immune system, we improve the overall health of the patient.
Medical researchers worldwide agree that our ability to achieve optimal health begins and ends with our cellular foundation. To that end, Dr. John Young, M.D. and Young Foundational Health Center have incorporated the latest biochemical, physiological, nutraceutical technologies and protocols into a program designed to address the causes of many chronic illnesses. Building on the work of giants in the medical field such as Kauffman, Klenner and Meyers, and research conducted at Yale, Stanford, Duke and Johns Hopkins Universities, Dr. Young has combined this early work with current understanding and Nobel Prize winning research to develop a system of the best known strategies for achieving proper cellular health and function. The result is a science-based, reliable and effective way to approach chronic conditions. This combined with preventative therapies and nutritional education, provides patients with systemic, effective protocols for achieving the promotion and maintenance of a healthy lifestyle. Our methods promote the development of a healthy and properly functioning immune system.
Dr. Young and Young Foundational Health Center can consult with you on the health needs of you and your family, review your medical history and develop a plan focusing on your natural, nutritional needs, enabling your body to be restored and operate at peak performance.
Dr. John Young has a bachelor’s degree in Political Science, a Master’s Degree in Public Administration, and is an MD with a residency in Family Practice. He has been an E.R. physician for more than 15 years. He also has a private practice that specializes in the treatment of chronic and genetic diseases. Click here to view Dr. Young’s full resume.
Dr. Young speaks extensively on the use of basic physiology and biochemistry to treat chronic diseases. John has made international presentations for a pharmaceutical company on the use of anti-microbials in the treatment of infectious diseases in the emergency room. He has been a consultant for various provincial administrations and private corporations in the republic of South Africa on the treatment and prevention of sexually transmitted diseases. He did some of the first studies for 3M on the use of a polymer membrane and its use in the treatment of second and third degree burns. He did the early studies for a major US university on the use of cold lasers in the treatment of chronic wounds.

I grew up in a suburban city just outside of Detroit and graduated from University of Detroit Mercy in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biochemistry. From there, I went to work in various industries including pharmaceutical manufacturing, supply chain, and paint research and development. It was during this time that I developed health complications that were not responding to conventional methods of treatment. I innately knew there was more to health and treatment of illness. I eventually learned of a type of doctor that practiced with the mindset of treating the whole person and not just the illness. I felt immediately drawn to this type of career, quit my job, and moved to Arizona to attend Naturopathic medical school.
I graduated from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2010 and practiced in an underserved community clinic for two years, before moving to Folsom, California and practicing there for almost 6 years. During this time, I attended multiple training conferences each year to learn and stay up-to-date on the best methods to support patients undergoing treatments for cancer diagnoses. I believe in treating the whole person, educating and motivating the patient to make the best lifestyle modifications to enhance their success.
I live in an almost century old home with my new husband and three crazy lovable feline monsters. My hobbies include reading for both learning or enjoyment (I enjoy a good detective mystery), watching my husband cook (then eating the food), making friends laugh, and skating with or officiating the Sacramento Roller Derby. My goals include obtaining a Fellowship of Integrative Cancer Therapies from the American Association of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M) and becoming a motivational speaker in my spare time.
Dr Andre Young Snell M.B.B.S.
Dr Young-Snell qualified in conventional medicine over fifteen years ago. He trained at Guy’s Hospital Medical School in London. After much deliberation, he decided to set up his own clinic so he could specialise in Metabolic Protocol.
He has covered many fields in his medical career at some of the UK’s top hospitals. The list includes Addenbrookes, Whipps Cross, Barts, Brighton and Guys, all of which contain world-class surgeons and doctors.
Dr Young-Snell has had a thorough grounding in all aspects of medicine, including tumour care, general medicine and surgery. Throughout his career as a ‘conventional’ doctor he has headed top hospital emergency teams, taught and provided guidance to junior doctors, run clinics, deciphered and coordinated patient management and, when time allowed, provided NHS hospital locums.
Dr Young-Snell’s unique personality and patient rapport, alongside his medical experience and knowledge, make this clinic one of the most open and honest in the country.

The Vision of Hope Clinic is a nutritional clinic situated in the beautiful seaside city of Brighton. Our small but highly experienced team comprises:
Such disciplines hold a vital role in the healing process of the patient. Patients are affected not only physically by their condition, but also mentally, emotionally and spiritually. By acting upon all of these areas, we are able to offer a unique healing environment by providing the care each patient needs.
We offer support on many levels, from goalsetting and hypnotherapy to yoga and a place to come and stay, as if on holiday or retreat. Cookery demonstrations can also be arranged for those needing more inspiration in the kitchen, and there are regular talks on nutrition. See above and/or contact the clinic for more information.
The Vision of Hope Clinic specialises in Metabolic Protocol, a nutritional approach to wellbeing. Research has shown that many of today’s serious disorders are related with dysfunctional diet and the way the body processes what we put into it.
The Vision of Hope Clinic offers the latest non-toxic, metabolic protocols.
Nutrition has been the subject of some of the most successful research with regards to chronic disease. We model our clinic on such research and studies to obtain the tremendous results of similar clinics across the world, and receive patients with a wide variety of conditions and illnesses.
Ozone and Hyperthermia (FIR Sauna)
