Alaska has been home since 1995. In my first years here, I supported my husband’s efforts to improve the modern telecom infrastructure of Alaska. After our marriage ended, I completed a BA in History from University of Alaska Anchorage, and found work within the non-profit community.
A long history of physical injuries resulted in pain and poor quality of life by 1999, when a friend recommended acupuncture for relief. After only a few months of helpful treatments, my acupuncturist said that my problems ‘structural’ in nature, and referred me to a local Rolfer.
From my first Rolf/SI session, pain in my body decreased and my quality of life improved dramatically.
In 2002, my life experienced an upheaval, and I used the opportunity to follow my gut sense to explore Rolf/SI as a profession. I have been practicing in Alaska since graduating from the Rolf Institute of Structural Integration in July 2004. My office is located in Palmer, and I do travel periodically to work in Anchorage and Valdez.
My work is driven by curiosity about the consistently positive results of Rolf/SI. I have completed a multi-year CE course in Visceral Manipulation, as well as a series of courses in Source Point Therapy. Additional training in Biodynamic Cranial techniques as well as Movement Education techniques culminate in painless, efficient Rolf/SI sessions.
In 2012, I was appointed to the Board of Directors of the International Association of Structural Integrators. This is a volunteer position. I am proud to serve the Rolf/SI community in this capacity. We work to increase awareness of SI, as well as provide the ethics and standards for our profession. We also currently recognize twelve schools teaching the work of Dr. Rolf at the highest level.

The specialty of Anti-Aging Medicine encompasses advanced preventative medicine and is holistic in scope. This means that it embraces cutting edge technology while perfecting proven natural remedies which have been with us for perhaps hundreds of years! Paul D. Rothwell, M.D. founded Wellness and Longevity, L.L.C. to offer the first truly comprehensive anti-aging and regenerative services in central Oklahoma! He is specialty trained in anti-aging medicine, including expert training in IV therapies which are a vital link to restoration of health and prevention of disease.
Real Anti-Aging Medicine is more than taking a few vitamins and supplements. Dr. Rothwell is trained to evaluate your body from the inside-out. First, detailed physical examination and comprehensive laboratory studies help identify specific areas of need. Thereafter, vitamins, supplements, and medication (if needed) are recommended. Hormone studies are evaluated to unmask areas of imbalance which can lead not only to aging, but several chronic diseases. If indicated, bioidentical hormones are prescribed to help reestablish balance and regain vitality. All of the above is coupled with extensive dietary counseling. All recommendations are based upon sound evidence-based science and common sense. We also offer pharmaceutical grade supplements which can only be obtained at a licensed physician’s office. We take the guess work out of choosing what will work best for you. Our patients find that eating healthy is actually easier and less complicated than most people think!
In addition, our comprehensive integrative approach offers IV therapies including Poly-MVA, Vitamin C, Myer’s Cocktail, Glutathione, and Oxidative Therapy to challenge cancer, minimize the symptoms of multiple disorders often refractory to conventional treatment, and rapidly restore potential nutritional imbalances. And, to the best of our knowledge, no other clinic in OKC offers all of the above services in addition to Aesthetics! Our Aesthetic services directed by Tonya Cameron, R.N. include Permanent Makeup, Botox, Fillers, and Dermabrasion (not spa dermabrasion but real medical dermabrasion). Our latest addition is the truly revolutionary Isolaz, which is highly effective with acne and skin rejuvenation. No other clinic in central Oklahoma offers this type of therapy. While most spas advertise all of their gadgets, we offer specific targeted therapies which are individualized and highly effective! In real Anti-Aging and Restorative Medicine there is no such thing as “one size fits all”.
We at Wellness and Longevity invite you to check us out. No one else can offer you all of the above services under one roof! Call today for a consultation. Our mission statement speaks for itself: “We promote optimal natural inner health, maximizing outer aesthetic beauty, enhancing each individual’s physical, emotional, and spiritual wellness.”
Meet Dr. Robert J. Rowen — the groundbreaking M.D. who’s trained over 400 doctors… cured over 5,000 patients…and helped pass the nation’s first medical freedom law
Now he has a new mission: to make sure YOU never become one of his patients!
To the doctors he’s trained and the patients he’s cured, Dr. Robert Rowen is known as something of a miracle worker. Indeed, Dr. Rowen receives over a dozen calls and emails a week from fellow physicians, seeking advice on how to cure their most challenging cases. Sometimes, the doctors fly their patients across the country to have Dr. Rowen examine and treat them.
Many of these patients suffer from deadly diseases like cancer…or from stubborn ailments like diabetes, arthritis, and heart disease that have plagued them for years. Yet over half of them leave Dr. Rowen’s care symptom-free. And many leave completely cured! This includes even the toughest cases other doctors give up on!
As it turns out, Dr. Rowen has considerably more experience practicing alternative medicine than just about any of his peers. He spent 22 years practicing in Alaska, the first state to provide statutory protection to alternative physicians.
Since Dr. Rowen was protected by law, he could use all kinds of treatments doctors in other states couldn’t use at the time. So he got at least a 5-year start on everyone else.
But Dr. Rowen wasn’t just a beneficiary of Alaska’s Medical Freedom Law. He actually helped draft the bill…and was instrumental in getting it passed.
During hearings, he incurred the wrath of the state’s organized medical community, who threatened to revoke his license. They even flew in a famous “quackbuster” to debate Dr. Rowen and try to embarrass him.
When it was all over, Dr. Rowen was still practicing…the bill had passed…and Governor Hickel had appointed him to the State Medical Board.
